Rumania. Descubriendo la leyenda
It happened. For the first time in Rosario, there was a Romanian cultural night (we think it was for the first time; Pico says the internet doesn’t have any other information about this and we like to believe we were first to do it; feel free to take it away from us, but think about the hearts you will break:), of 8 Romanian Rainbows that did it + our partners + the participants).
We had been thinking and telling people about this cultural evening since the first few days we arrived here and after postponing the actual night for 2 weeks for various reasons, we finally found the place and support for doing it on the 15th of March. Our amazing hosts were the people from Centro Cultural de la Toma (Facebook) who gave us full access to everything they have there and their good energy for the event. We also received help from our friends from el Centro de la Juventud (Facebook), from our friends from Cine a la Carta (Facebook) and from all the other great people who disseminated our event in different directions. So, thank you, to those who helped and to those who came.
We had the craziest week while preparing the event, meaning that everyday something would came up; sometimes not the best, but usually good things. During the evenings before the event, we met in our living room (it was something unsaid, but something that was happening), round our handmade table, talking about what we would do, how we would do it, asking our Argentinean friends for help or advice and listening to Romanian music, to get in the groove:) .
It was a really nice process because everybody had its own tasks to fulfill and it would have been easier and faster if we would have done them in our rooms, concentrating, but the beautiful thing that happened was that even though it was harder to work together in the same room, it was so much fun and this led us to the last 2 days before the event, when we spent all the time together; just beautiful. We shopped, we cooked, we danced, we drew, we worked, we thought, we smiled, almost all the time together. And for us as a team, it was a really good thing, because when things got rough, there was all the time someone to back you up.
Then came the event: oh, THE EVENT! We were prepared to start at 6, we started at 8; we had a program, we only did half of it; we were expecting a lot more people to come, less showed up; we thought we would go crazy, we had a lot of fun and we were very relaxed. Indeed, we felt a bit sad that there were not so many participants, but we were so happy that those who came, actually came and as it seems, they had fun:), except one that left frustrated because we promised a competition and we didn’t do it, but we will. Maybe we will do the second Romanian cultural evening; there are still a lot of things to say and to discover, because the legend is big and one can only find out a few things in a few hours. You can find pictures of the event on Facebook and the dancing part on Youtube. As you can see, we (Romanians) are not the best dancers, but our amazing guests saved the evening with their moves:).

Por primera vez en Rosario, hubo una noche cultural de Rumania (que creo que era la primera vez; Internet no tiene ninguna otra información acerca de esto y nos gusta creer que los primeros en hacerlo).
ResponderEliminarHabíamos estado pensando y luego informando a la gente acerca de esta velada cultural desde los primeros días en que llegamos aquí y tras el aplazamiento de la noche real durante 2 semanas por diversos motivos, finalmente encontramos el lugar y el apoyo para hacerlo el 15 de marzo. Nuestros increíbles anfitriones fueron la gente de Centro Cultural de la Toma (Facebook) que nos dio acceso completo a todo lo que tienen allí y su buena energía para el evento.
También recibimos ayuda de nuestros amigos desde el Centro de la Juventud (Facebook), de nuestros amigos de Cine a la Carta (Facebook) y de todas las otras grandes personas que difunden nuestro evento en diferentes direcciones. Así que, gracias, a los que ayudaron y para los que finalmente vinieron. Tuvimos una semana de lo más intensa y mientras se preparaba el evento, significó que todos los días algo sucedía; a veces no es el mejor, pero las cosas suelen ser buenos.
Por la noche antes del evento, nos reunimos en nuestra sala de estar y alrededor de la mesa hecha a mano, charlamos de lo que íbamos a hacer, cómo lo haríamos; consideramos pedir a nuestros amigos argentinos en busca de ayuda o consejo mientras oíamos música rumana. La idea es seguir estando en el surco (trabajo, actividad).
Fue un proceso muy lindo porque todo el mundo tiene sus propias tareas que cumplir, pero habría sido más fácil y más rápido si nos las hemos hecho en nuestras habitaciones, pero lo bonito que pasó fue que a pesar de que era más difícil de trabajar juntos en la misma habitación, que era muy divertido, y esto nos llevó a los últimos 2 días antes del evento, cuando nos pasamos todo el tiempo juntos, simplemente hermoso. Fuimos de compras, cocinamos, bailamos, nos acercamos, trabajamos, pensamos, nos reímos, casi todos el tiempo, juntos.
Y para nosotros como equipo, fue una muy buena cosa, porque cuando las cosas se pusieron difíciles, había todo el tiempo a alguien que te apoye. Pan casero…; más tarde comenzó el evento: oh, ¡el evento! Estábamos preparados para comenzar a las 6, que comenzó a las 8, teníamos un programa, sólo hicimos la mitad de ella, nos esperábamos mucho más que la gente venga, teníamos un montón de diversión y estábamos muy relajados.
En efecto, nos sentimos un poco triste que no había tantos participantes, pero estábamos tan contentos que los que vinieron, que nos divertimos de igual modo, excepto uno que dejó frustrado porque prometimos un concurso y no lo hizo, pero lo haremos. Tal vez vamos a hacer la segunda velada cultural rumanoa; hay todavía un montón de cosas que decir y descubrir, porque la leyenda es grande y uno sólo puede saber un par de cosas en pocas horas.

Como puede ver, nosotros (rumanos) no somos los mejores bailarines, pero nuestros huéspedes increíbles salvos por la noche con sus movimientos. A mantener un ojo en nosotros, porque sólo estamos en el punto de partida.
